We help patients recover after various illnesses, operations, musculoskeletal injuries, and those suffering from circulatory, digestive, endocrine, gynecological, kidney, and nervous system diseases, and other conditions.
At Lorna Medical Centre, primary and outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation treatment for children and adults is covered by the Territorial Health Insurance Funds.
Procedures in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department are carried out after a consultation with a rehabilitation doctor. Patients without a referral from their attending physician for a rehabilitation doctor consultation are offered paid procedures. Paid procedures are also prescribed to extend a course of treatment after free procedures, or for procedures not intended to treat the primary illness.
With a referral from a family doctor or specialist, initial and outpatient rehabilitation is free of charge.
After consulting a doctor, an individual health restoration and strengthening programme is created! Kinesitherapy, physiotherapy procedures and therapeutic massages are prescribed and performed.
Patients with a referral for rehabilitation are accepted from all over Lithuania.
Patients arriving for rehabilitation treatment are asked to inform staff if they have been issued a sick leave certificate. The rehabilitation doctor will extend it for the treatment period.
Lorna Medical Centre cooperates with the insurance companies Compensa Life Insurance Group SE, Gjensidige Baltic, BTA sveikatos draudimas, If P&C Insurance, Lietuvos draudimas, and Seesam Vienna Insurance Group. Selected physical medicine and rehabilitation treatment and wellness procedures can be paid for using health insurance.
To restore and improve health, prevent illness and promote wellness, Lorna Medical Centre provides comprehensive, combined physical medicine and rehabilitation treatment. This includes a combination of rehabilitation measures - physiotherapy, kinesitherapy, occupational therapy, massage, and wellness procedures.
The team of physical medicine and rehabilitation doctors and specialists creates an individual treatment plan for every patient!
